Happy Tuesday! The weeks have been flying by and I can not believe next week will already be August! I feel like summer just started and although I do love fall, I’m not ready for summer to be over anytime soon. We’ve had a lot going on these last few weekends. I was just looking at our August calendar and we have something planned every weekend. I shouldn’t be complaining (it’s all fun stuff!), but I feel like the weeks fly by so much faster when we have a lot planned. Kennedy is at such a fun age now, she loves exploring and crawling around, but she isn’t fast enough that I have to chase her all over the place. I’ve been trying to make it a point to take her outside a lot more during the day. We always go for a walk with the dogs, but I’m going to try to take her to the playground to swing or have picnic lunches over at the beach more often during the last few weeks of summer. Here are some photos taken before we went to the beach last week.
How cool is this huge flamingo mural that is only a few blocks from our apartment?! I love walking past it. It’s on the side of the Flamingo Rum Club (which we haven’t been to yet, but maybe one night soon we’ll get a babysitter and do a date night there).
My dress and hat are old, but I linked similar ones below. Even though the cover-up is long sleeves, the linen fabric is so light and makes the perfect pool or beach cover-up. These wedges are my favorite and I have been wearing them all summer. More outfit inspiration below:
